The amount of harmful exhaust gases from fuel engines must be as low as possible. Car manufacturers use Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) for this. Part of the exhaust gases that have already been burned is re-routed to the combustion chambers via the EGR valve. This makes the combustion process calmer, decreases the combustion temperature and causes fewer nitrogen oxides to be formed. The dirty exhaust gasses, however, clog the intake system and the fuel system, reducing performance and increasing fuel consumption. JLM develops products that remove and prevent this pollution, like the JLM EGR Valve Cleaner.
