JLM Lubricants Diesel DPF Cleaning & Flush Fluidpack J02230

In combination with the JLM Diesel DPF Cleaning Toolkit, the JLM Diesel DPF Cleaning & Flush Fluid Pack cleans very dirty diesel particulate filters without dismantling and saves the motorist significant cost.

Product information

Once a diesel particulate filter (DPF) is totally clogged with deposits it often has to be completely replaced. Depending on the car make and model, a new diesel particulate filter, including dismantling and fitting, can easily cost over £1000, and in some cases in excess of £3000.

Cleaning and restoring a DPF with JLM Clean & Flush Fluid is more economical than replacing the entire filter and saves time as well as money. The workshop can completely clean the DPF in around 1 hour, without the filter having to be dismantled.

In addition to soot (carbon particulates), grease and dirt from burned engine oil also accumulate in the diesel particulate filter as a result of incomplete regeneration. The JLM Diesel DPF Cleaning & Flush Fluid Pack comprises a highly concentrated cleaner and an effective flush fluid. The first fluid is a strong pre-soaking cleaner that pre-treats and loosens the soot and other contaminants trapped in the  filter.

After loosening the dirt in the diesel particulate filter, the flush or rinsing fluid flushes the filter until it is thoroughly clean. This allows the vehicle to be driven normally and it is recommended that the vehicle is taken on a road test while monitoring the DPF to ensure that a normal regeneration takes place.  This can be assisted with the JLM DPF Cleaner which helps particulates to burn off at a lower temperature.

HOW TO USE

Frequently
asked
questions

These are the most common questions we get from a potential distributor.

Do any of the JLM additives help the performance of the high pressure diesel fuel pump?

J02330 Rapid is perfect for pump and injectors!

Is it OK to use the extreme and the DPF cleaner together. ?

No, this will not have a positive effect. In fact it may cause an adverse effect. And also the risk of overdosing! Never combine fuel additives

Will BluBoost dissolve existing crystal infestation or is it more like a preventative product?

JLM’s BluBoost additive cleans and prevents crystal formation in the AdBlue dosing system. It also conditions the AdBlue fluid for a longer time to ensure proper working of the AdBlue and SCR system. This helps prevent performance loss and the often-subsequent expensive repairs. It also reduces foaming at low temperatures

Is the JLM Engine Oil Flush safe for use with wet belt engines?

Our JLM OIL FLUSH is safe to use with ‘wet belts’ (TBIO). This is mainly because we use non solvent and premium pack of oil cleaning additives.

Does the Petrol Emissions Reduction Treatment also clean the catalytic convertor?

The catalytic converter is not a filter, it functions by converting harmful emission gases into less harmful gases. The filter can become contaminated if for example there has been an oil leak, and when this happens the filter needs to be replaced. There is no additive or chemical that will remove physical contamination from a catalytic.
